Loblaws - What happened to Customer Service ?

Remember the days when you could pay for overpriced food at Loblaws and actually have the Cashier bag your groceries as well!!???

Ahhhhh, those were the days. Ever since they have introduced this $0.05 per bag rule in Toronto Customer Service at Loblaws has gone WAY DOWN HILL. 9 times out of 10 I am packing my own reusable grocery bags, while the cashier sits there and waits for me to finish packing. It is a disgrace. I don’t mind helping out to speed up the process…. but it offends me that it is just expected that we do it now. I thought this was part of the service we pay for and was built in to the over priced items at higher end grocery stores like Loblaws!

I am thinking of switching…….. oh wait, all grocery stores hire lazy cashiers now… My bad!
