I confess to not understanding everything Obama was discussing in his Nobel Peace speech. However, I do understand his intellect, his compassion for our world and his passion for conveying an important message.
Every time I hear Obama speak he inspires me to think differently, well not even differently, but more to what I already know I ought to be thinking more consistently.
He may not have the documented accomplishments that other Nobel Peace Prize winners had… but Obama has endless potential.
I wish I had this much trust in my own national leader (Stephen Harper), or any potential leader in Canada for that matter.
I hope Obama is able to inspire enough people around the world to invoke lasting progress towards a world of civility.
